- Adjunct Faculty (part-time): Highly qualified individuals with
expertise in various aspects of Computational Chemistry or
Bioinformatics, who are interested in contributing to the teaching of
the West Center short courses that are described on this Website (or courses on
related topics), should send the following information to the address indicated
below: (1) a copy of your CV, (2) an indication of which short courses listed
on our website you would be qualified and interested in teaching, (3) your
availability (semesters, days of the week and times), and (4) at least two
references that can speak to your knowledge and instructional ability.
CV's are normally kept on file for a period of two years, after which you
should plan to submit new information if still interested in a position.

Postdoctoral/
Research Fellow Positions
It is anticipated that openings for
Postdoctoral positions in the
area of
Computational Chemistry will be available on a regular basis.
Appointments are normally made for one year, with an option to renew expected,
pending funding.
These postdoctoral appointments are in part a result of the recent expansion
of the University's
West Center for
Computational Chemistry and Drug Design, which is located in the Department
of Chemistry & Biochemistry.

Student
Positions
Students are employed by many of the departments and offices
on
campus, either directly, or under the auspices of Federal or
Pennsylvania Work-Study programs, giving students the opportunity
to earn money for expenses while at the same time gaining valuable
experience. The West Center employs undergraduates to assist
faculty to maintain and upgrade the hardware and software available
in the West Center, to grade and otherwise contribute to courses
offered by West Center faculty, and to assist the West Center
Director. Students interested in any of these positions should
