Explanations of some of the different types of events:

1. Table Talk Discussion Series

These will be informal discussions, sharing ideas and mutual problem solving. Each topic will be offered twice to attempt to accommodate teaching schedules. Light refreshments will be served. All faculty, including part time or adjunct faculty are welcome to come.

the Teaching and Learning Technology Roundtable and the Center for Extended and Distance Learning

T5: TableTalk: Teaching: Tips and Techniques

2.. Workshops for Graduate Student Instructors
All current graduate student instructors are required to attend these monthly sessions. Other graduate students are welcome.

3. Talking about Teaching
An annual event held in the spring that focuses on increasing teaching skills and exchange for information among the faculty. Refreshments will be served. All faculty, including part time or adjunct faculty are welcome to come.

4. Workshops
Although workshops are usually offered to a specific audience, other interested people may attend. Please check with the Teaching and Learning Center prior to participating.
