As an undergrad, Amanda Byrd played on two championship women’s basketball teams at USP. But that isn’t all that drew her there. Amanda liked “the integrity of the University and its strong Physical Therapy program.” The education she acquired prepared her well for her career. Amanda passed the boards and is working full time in Wilmington, Delaware at Pro Physical Therapy, a company founded by USP grads. Amanda believes the quality of USP’s academics was as important as the strength of its athletic programs in helping her achieve her goals. “I was definitely challenged,” says Amanda. “I gained a positive attitude about my future.” One that has already helped her score points in her career and in her life.
