Stephen G Linton
2007 Biology, BS
Current Employer: Johnson and Johnson
"The teamwork concept I learned from playing basketball plays a major role in all facets of my life," said biology graduate Stephen G. Linton. "With research, we are given different aspects of a project to work on. Being able to realize you're part of the bigger picture gives you the driving force to work hard and achieve." Stephen chose USP over several world-renowned universities for the "prestige and academic rigor to place me above other applicants to medical school." He has worked along with USP researchers on projects involving anti-cancer drugs. This experience, which is rare for undergraduates at other universities, provides a competitive advantage. He received a job offer from Johnson and Johnson less than a month after graduation and is now an associate scientist.
