Free Lectures About Complementary/Alternative Therapies and Medicine at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia

The impact and importance of complementary and alternative therapies and medicines will be the focus of several free lectures this fall at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. The lectures, supported by the Cox Foundation of the National Homeopathy Center, are open to the public. Professors and other skilled professionals, including C. Edgar Scheaffer, VMD, a nationally known holistic veterinarian from Lancaster, Pa., will speak on a variety of topics, including the history of these medicines, how traditional health care providers use complementary medicines in everyday practice, and the different ways homeopathic medicine can be used for animals.
