Advanced Concepts Institute Offer Free CE Program on Pharmacy
Practice Updates
University
of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP) and Advanced Concepts
Institute is offering a free continuing education program
devoted to pharmacy practice updates 7 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.,
Saturday, October 22, in USP’s Griffith Hall A, located
at 600 S. 43rd Street, Philadelphia, Pa. The program includes
three sessions on the following topics:
- Prescription Drug Benefit:
What Every Pharmacist Needs to Know,
- Appropriate Treatment
and Management Options for Benign Prostatic
Hyperplasia (BPH), and
- Bipolar Affective Disorder:
Current Status and Future Directions
Designed
for pharmacists caring for patients, the program offers five
hours of continuing education credits in states that recognize
Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education providers. CE
credits will be awarded to participants who successfully attend
the activity and electronically submit a program evaluation
and verification of attendance form. Advance registration
is encouraged as seating is limited. For more information,
