Of The Sciences In Philadelphia Names New Vice President of the Office
of Professional Programs S.
Michael Ross of Atlanta, Ga., has been named vice president of the Office
of Professional Programs at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
He will also serve as a member of the University's Executive Management
Committee. He will be responsible
for strategic collaborations, industrial-academic partnerships and oversight
of current and new strategic initiatives, including the Complementary
and Alternative Medicine Institute.
Dr.
Ross has 17 years of experience in health care delivery and administration.
He is recognized by health care management colleagues for strategic leadership
and operational excellence. He brings expertise in health consulting, e-health, health
care management and administration, market analysis and business unit
development, disease management and outcomes research as well as a strong
background in primary care medicine, specifically in pediatrics.
He
received an M.D. from George Washington University in 1983.
University
of the Sciences in Philadelphia is a private, coeducational institution
