The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia requires
that all full-time students maintain active health insurance coverage
comparable to the university-sponsored insurance plan while in attendance
at USP.
Students with other insurance coverage are required to
notify USP of their coverage status each year in order to waive
out of the university-sponsored student health plan.
USP Student Health and Counseling (SHAC), in partnership with USI
Collegiate Insurance Resources and Inter-County Health Plan Inc.
(ICHP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Independence Blue Cross and
Highmark Blue Cross, is pleased to be able to offer USP students
an affordable option in terms of student health insurance coverage.

For part time students or others who don't qualify for the student
health insurance plan and do not have other insurance coverage,

For students who previously purchased the AHP plan, coverage will
continue up to August 15, 2009.
