Mission of the Department of Environmental Health and Radiation Safety

We support the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia's mission of excellence in teaching, research and service by providing resources, programs and services to assure a safe working environment for all members of the University community.

The primary responsibility of the Department of Environmental Health and Radiation Safety is to anticipate, recognize, evaluate and control occupational hazards by providing technical support, information and training programs, consulting services, periodic auditing of health and safety practices and regulatory compliance.
