How do I sign up for housing?

Sign-up materials for housing and food services will be forwarded to students who have been accepted and having paid their admission deposit. The housing materials include: Residence Life Guide, the Housing and Commuter Information Form (carbonless 2 part form), and a return envelope.

May I bring a car to campus my first year?

No. Parking space is limited on campus to a number of upper-class students for a fee.

What are my meal plan options?

How does the phone system work?

The university provides a phone, phone line, voice mail, on-campus and local calling. The expense of any long distance charges are the responsibility of the student. It is recommended students use calling cards or a similar method of payment.

Do I have to live on campus?

All first- and second-year students who are unmarried, unable to commute from home, and under the age of 21 must reside in university housing.

If I am over 21 may I have alcohol on campus?

No. The university prohibits the consumption or possession of alcoholic beverage containers, empty or full, by anyone, regardless of age, in the residence halls.

What if I need special accomadations?

Student who has special needs such as wheelchair access, visual or sensory (fire alarms), or any others should notify, in writing, the Residence Life Office prior to arriving to campus. The University makes every effort for reasonable accommodation of individuals with special needs.

When are residence halls closed?

The residence halls will be closed during the period of Thanksgiving, Spring break, and Christmas. Resident students are required to vacate the residence halls.
