Body Worlds at the Franklin Institute - 4 tickets are still available for Body Worlds at the Franklin Institute for Wednesday, November 18. Tickets are $15.00 each. Bus departs from the Library at 6:15 pm. Contact Patty O'Hagan at p.ohagan@usp.edu for further information.

Bingo - Great prizes on Wednesday, November 18 at 8 pm in the Dining Hall.

Swine Flu (H1N1) Information Session and Children's Program - presented by student members of the American Pharmacists Association and a panel of Faculty Experts. Date: Wednesday, November 18th at 7 pm in STC-145.

Operation Diabetes
- APhA Operation Diabetes will hold a glucose and blood pressure screenings for all students, faculty and staff. Free on November 19 from 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm in STC Atrium.

Story of a Drug - The story behind Tylenol and Celebrex - Thursday, November 19th at 1 pm (Griffith Hall Room C) and 6 pm (Griffith Hall Room A). Do you know what you're putting in your mouth? Come and listen in on the Story of the Drug! Lee's Hoagies will be provided. Sponsored by The Tox Club.

Research Pharmacy - Bridge Project - sponsored by NCPA in Griffith Hall Room A at 2:00 pm on November 19.

Blood Diamond presented by Project Child Relief and cosponsored by SGA. There will be food and refreshments - Thursday, November 19 at 7 pm in STC-145.

National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week Food Drive is November 15-21. Circle K is asking for your donations:

  • Any canned food items
  • Peanut butter or Jelly in plastic containers
  • Boxes of cereal and pasta
  • Laundry or dish detergent

Drop off your items to: STC Atrium on November 19th from 12-4 pm or 4500 Woodland Avenue Room 133 on December 3rd from 2-3 pm. Their goal is to collect 300 lbs of items for PhilAbundance.

Got a Sweet Tooth? Get your fix on November 19th in Wilson Hall - Charity Bake Sale for the nonprofit organization - Beyond Balance. Beyond Balance is a therapeutic horseback riding organization for children with life challenging disabilities. Co-rooted by the PMM Club.

Community Tree Planting - Help UC Green plant 150 trees in one day! Help reduce storm water runoff and clean the air on Saturday, November 21 at Kingsessing Recreation Center at 50th and Kingsessing Avenue. Registration is at 9 am. AIDS Awareness Entertainment Show - Sponsored by APhA-ASP on December 3, 2pm in STC-145. It is open to the entire campus. Professor Green will be the speaker, Jazz ensemble and iNERTiA dance team will be performing, and it counts as IPPE for P1 students.

Blue Mountain Ski Trip - Bus sponsored by SGA/Campus Activities Board. BUS IS FREE! You pay for the lift and rentals. Date: Sunday, January 24 from 2 pm - 10 pm. Come out for a day of fun on the slopes the first weekend back after classes start. Whether you are a frequent skier or just starting out, there are plenty of trails for everyone. Not sure about skiing or boarding? Try tubing instead! The bus will be leaving USP at 2 pm and returning around midnight. Sign up in the Student Affairs Complex by Tuesday, December 15 to save your spot on the bus! Lift Tickets - $25.00; With Rental - $43.00; with lesson - $56.00. Payment must be made by December 15 so we can get the group discount rate. Payment may be in a check or exact change.
