Ben F. Massey, Jr., PT, MA
Well regarded for his contributions to the field of physical therapy, Ben F. Massey, Jr. served two terms as president of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) from 2000–06. Mr. Massey is currently Executive Director of the North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners in Durham, North Carolina. An active APTA member since 1976, Massey has served the Association in many leadership positions, including as Secretary of the APTA Board of Directors, Vice Speaker of the APTA House of Delegates, and Chair of the APTA Nominating Committee.
