Students Are Well Prepared For Medical School

Suzanne Murphy, PhD
Suzanne Murphy is a professor of biology and interim dean of Misher College of Arts and Sciences at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. As director of pre-health professional programs, she's witnessed firsthand why USP acceptance rates to medical school are exceptionally high. "There's an open door policy here. If students need help, all they have to do is ask for it. Our environment is supportive, rather than competitive. And our faculty to student ratio allows much more personal attention." Academics and attitude both make a difference, according to Suzanne, "Students come back and tell me how well prepared they are in medical school. They have a definite advantage."
