USP opened many doors for Vincent Casiano BI '06, including the door to his first-choice for medical school, Jefferson Medical College. A pre-med biology and medical technology major, Vincent gained important experience as a research assistant for the Center for Sleep and Respiratory Neurobiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. "USP prepared me very well, in particular, my pre-med advisor, Dr. Murphy," he says. But the great education is only part of college life. "I released stress at the ARC, played golf, or went into Philadelphia. The feeling at USP can best be described as 'comfortable.' Every effort is made to make you feel as though the University is your second home."
