Tina Gandhi, Professor Ideishi, and Lena Yuen
Professor Roger Ideishi involved Tina Gandhi MOT '05 and Lena Yuen MOT '05. in USP's KenCrest Kensington Preschool Project, where they documented play behaviors and how environmental changes increased social interaction. According to Tina, a staff occupational therapist at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia, "The KenCrest experience, taught me the importance of educating people about the benefits of OT, and I am developing a website providing OT information for victims of stroke, brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries." For Lena, a staff occupational therapist at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, the KenCrest Project provided intensive leadership experience. "I now have the problem-solving skills to go on to accomplish anything I'm passionate about."
