Biography
Henry serves as the Director of Community Pharmacy Practice Experiences
in the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at the University of the
Sciences in Philadelphia.
Dr. Schwartz graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy
and Sciences with his Bachelor of Science degree in 1970 and Shenandoah
University in 2001 with his Doctor of Pharmacy. He is a Certified
Diabetes Educator and an Immunization Trainer.
Prior to joining USP in 2007, Dr. Schwartz was the Director of
Clinical Services for Rite Aid Corporation where he managed Rite
Aid’s Diabetes Initiative, Rite Care (MTM), HIV Adherence,
as well as immunization programs. His additional prior pharmacy
practice experiences include hospital, long term care, and independent
community pharmacy.
Dr. Schwartz is a member of the American Pharmaceutical Association,
American Association of Diabetes Educators, and the American Diabetes
Association. He has been honored with a Presidential Citation and
an Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award from the New Jersey Pharmacists
Association.
