BiographyDr. Craig Whitman is Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administration at USP. He has a clinical practice at the Trauma Intensive Care Unit (TICU) at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. Dr. Whitman received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University. He then completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at the VA Western New York Healthcare System and a Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy. Dr. Whitman teaches in the Case Studies course as well as in the Pharmacotherapeutics courses. He serves as a preceptor at Cooper University Hospital in the TICU with a clinical rotation in critical care. Dr. Whitman’s research interests involve the clinical use of drug therapy in critically ill patients. Dr. Whitman serves as an advisor for the APhA-ASP chapter at USP
and is an active member of ACCP, ASHP, and SCCM.
