BiographyDr. Earl is an Assistant Professor at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia since 2001. She is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Earl received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science (PCPS). She completed a critical care residency at PCPS. She serves as a preceptor to pharmacy students and performs clinical research at the Center for Advanced Heart Failure Care at Hahnemann. Dr. Earl has coordinated the Biomedical Literature Evaluation course for Doctor of Pharmacy students and the Nutrition Module for the Flex Pharm.D program. She has also lectured in the Pharmacotherapeutics course as well as taught in Case Studies and Professional Seminar courses. She is interested in scholarly areas involving the use of educational interventions to improve outcomes in a heart failure population, scholarship of teaching, and cardiovascular pharmacotherapeutics. She has been involved in professional organizations such as the
Mid-Atlantic College of Clinical Pharmacy (Officer 1998-9), American
College of Clinical Pharmacy, Society of Critical Care Medicine,
New Jersey Chapter of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (Board
member & Program Committee 1996-2001).
