Biography
Dr. John Connors is Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy in
the Department of Pharmacy Practice & Pharmacy Administration
and Director of the Flexible Option (non-traditional) Doctor of
Pharmacy Program in the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. In addition,
he is Associate Dean of Graduate Studies in the College of Graduate
Studies and Director of Extended and Distance Learning.
Dr. Connors earned the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree
at University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Doctor of Pharmacy degree
at the University of Kentucky. He also completed a two-year clinical
pharmacy residency at the University of Kentucky’s Albert
B. Chandler Medical Center and a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases
Pharmacotherapy at the University of Georgia and the Medical College
of Georgia.
Dr. Connors’ areas of interest include public health, infectious
diseases and their management, distance learning, and academic program
planning and development.
