Mission

The mission of the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administration is to educate students in pharmacy and related health care fields, as well as conduct research and perform service to advance the university, the profession, and society.

Programs of Study

The Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administration (DOPP/PA) offer several programs that are integral to the practice of Pharmacy. These include the entry level Doctor of Pharmacy program, the Master of Science in Pharmacy Administration, and the flexible option Doctor of Pharmacy. A Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management is also offered by the Department of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Business. Click here for more information.

Faculty and Staff Information

The faculty and staff of our department are dedicated to continually improving drug therapy and pharmaceutical care through the discovery, application, and dissemination of knowledge about drugs and drug use. Our faculty utilize innovative approaches to teaching emphasize problem solving and integrate state-of-the-art technology both in the classroom and in patient care and other professional and business environments. Post Graduate Training

Post graduate residency and fellowship training programs offered by the DOPP/PA prepare Doctor of Pharmacy graduates to be independent practitioners of clinical pharmacy and to assume the roles and responsibilities for direct patient care and research.
