OT 10th AnniversaryYou like helping people.
You enjoy creative and "hands-on" activities.
You want to engage in a meaningful occupation.

You like finding innovative ways to solve problems. And to you, a career choice isn't just about earning a living. It has to be rewarding. You want to work in an occupation where you can help people. Occupational Therapy may be right for you.

As an occupational therapist you'll:

  • Help people regain their independence
  • Use clinical skills and critical thinking
  • Be involved in evaluating surroundings
  • Provide direct treatment
  • Make equipment recommendations
  • Give guidance to family members and other caregivers

Why USP should be your first choice:

  • Earn a Masters in Occupational Therapy (MOT) in just five years
with no additional application to the professional phase
  • Take five intervention courses rather than the typical two or three at other schools
  • Learn by doing, working side-by-side with nationally recognized faculty
  • Learn through real-life experiences working in the community
  • Be involved in grant-funded projects with noted professors
  • Enjoy smaller classes with personalized attention
  • Graduate in demand--typically with four or five job offers
  • Be part of a campus that feels small but lives large

The program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) located at 4720 Montgomery Lane, Bethesda, MD, 20824, (301) 652-2682.
