What do you remember most about your orientation program?  “I stayed up late (almost all night) in the dorm running around and eating junk food.”

A tip you would give a new student:  “Come to college with an open mind, and you will have a great experience.”
What do you remember most about your orientation program?  “I was very nervous about leaving my friends at home and going away to school, but after Orientation, I could not wait to get home to e-mail all of my new friends who I met at USP.  Orientation relieved any anxiety about school and made me very excited for the fall semester to start.”

A tip you would give a new student:  “Don’t be afraid to reach out and meet new people.  College is what you make of it, and it is definitely more fun with a good group of friends.”
What do you remember most about your orientation program?  “The people I met turned out to be some of my best friends here at USP.  I didn’t know my orientation roommate because we forgot to bring lights for the room. I fell asleep before he came back, but it was really funny when I found out the next day that he was in my group.”

A tip you would give a new student:  “Time management is important. You have to be able to plan time for studying and time for fun.  Keep a good balance because too much of either will not work.”
What do you remember most about your orientation program?  “I won the pie-eating contest.  I also remember meeting a lot of really great people who I still talk to today.”

What do you remember most about your orientation program?  “One of the t wo people that I met during Orientation, one turned out to be my roommate this year and other turned out to be one of my best friends and my roommate for next year.”

A tip you would give a new student:  “Don’t be nervous!  Relax and everything will fall into place.  Also, if you have questions, ask!  Orientation Leaders, academic advisors and staff are all great resources and can point you in the right direction.”
What do you remember most about your orientation program?  “I remember meeting a lot of awesome people and staying up really late getting to know them.  It was laid back, relaxed, and fun!”
