While your student is attending orientation during Day One, we’ve planned a schedule of activities just for you. You will get tips to help on how students transition to university life, information about their academic programs, and meet the staff at the University who will be working with your students over the next few years.
On Day Two, you have the option of attending a tour of Historic Philadelphia (see below) or visiting staff in some of the University’s key departments, including Financial Aid, Student Life, Dining Services, and Student Accounts, to name a few. The staff will be happy to answer any questions you or your students may have.
On Day Two, family members can attend a tour of Historic Philadelphia. Family members will be transported by motorized coach to Historic Philadelphia where you can visit the Constitution Center, Philadelphia Visitors and Convention Center, see the Liberty Bell or enjoy wonderful restaurants, galleries, and other attractions.
To reserve a space, please click here to register by June 4, 2009. Payment will be collected before the tour.
Students will be housed on campus for the overnight program. If you will be attending with your student, there are plenty of places to stay close by. Visit www.onebigcampus.com or www.gophila.com. Look for a hotel near Center City, Rittenhouse Square, or University City. For fun things to do in the city, go to www.gophila.com.
