The Femi Memorial Fund is an award given to a student who exemplifies Femi’s characteristics and qualities in life, may it be the classroom, at the ARC, in the community, etc. All of the proceeds from the Femi Memorial 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament will be donated to The Femi Memorial Fund. Femi Ogunkorode
About Femi Ogunkorode

Olufemi "Femi" Paschal Ogunkorode, a third-year pharmacy student, was both a friend and staff member of the Athletic/Recreation Center (ARC). Femi was also an honor student and member of the USP tennis team.

On March 23, 2006, Femi suddenly passed away at the age of 20 years old. It was a devastating moment for the USP Community. He brought so much positive energy and enthusiasm into our lives and hearts.

Femi was a great achiever, a well brought up child and a thoroughly hard working young man. He never disobeyed his parents. His humility and gentility earned him a lot of respect from all his teachers and friends both in high school and college.

All the people who knew him never stopped referring to him as a great role model. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Even though he died young, he left an indelible mark. He was a great role model to his siblings.
