Password Management

The USP IT department has implemented a "self-service" password management system for staff and students. The solution allows end-users to reset forgotten passwords, change their passwords or security questions. This system is available to users on and off campus.

The following services are affected by the password management system:

  • Angel
  • Webadvisor
  • Access to all campus computers
  • Outlook Exchange (email) for faculty and staff only

In order to use the password reset functionality, you must first enroll in the system.

Change My Password

  1. Open the USP Password Management Application [opens in a new window].
  2. Enter your your username and password. You should include JUNGLE\ before you username. I.e. if your username is j.doe then you should enter JUNGLE\j.doe
  3. Click the MyPassword button at the bottom of the page.
  4. Enter your current password and new password in the boxes provided, then click the Change button.

Reset My Password

In order to use this new feature you must have previously enrolled in the system. If you had previously enrolled, use the password recovery feature to reset your password. If you have not enrolled you will need to contact the Help Desk to reset your password.

Change My Security Questions

  1. Open the USP Password Management Application [opens in a new window].
  2. Enter your your username and password. You should include JUNGLE\ before you username. I.e. if your username is j.doe then you should enter JUNGLE\j.doe
  3. Click the MyQuestions button at the bottom of the page.
  4. Enter your new questions and click the Save button.
