Internet Access in the Dorms

Information Technology will ensure that access to the global Internet is available from the network jacks located in the residence hall rooms. Students will be able to use their personal computers (when equipped with an appropriate network card) to connect to the Internet using the network jacks in the residence hall rooms.

Connecting to the Network is Changing!

A new network authentication and validation security system is in place to prevent infected computer systems such as laptops or desktops from gaining access to the network and infecting other systems.  This will ensure a safe, secure and reliable network for you. The Clean Access Agent is required to be installed on all residential computers in order to have internet access.

Read below for how to set up your computer once it is connected to the network jack with an ethernet cable.
