Office of Institutional Research and Assessment
The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment supports the mission of USP by providing consistent and accurate information for internal and external use, provides assurance that the University is achieving its mission and objectives, and promotes continuous institutional improvement. The office is also responsible for serving as the data resource for all external reports and statistical data including government and accrediting agencies, professional organizations, and college guides and directories.
The Office carries out the following responsibilities:
- Annual assessment reporting and analysis for all academic, student services, operational, and administrative units within the institution
- Participation in the planning, management and assessment of the University’s mission and strategic plan
- Participation in the planning and execution of activities related to regional and disciplinary accreditation
- Consultation for institutional units and individual faculty and staff members in the planning and implementation of assessment activities
- Preparation and publication of the University Factbook and Enrollment Reports
- Completion of surveys requested by college guides and directories
- Provision of statistical data for reports required by state and federal agencies
- Provision of data for ad hoc and internal reporting to support planning and decision making policies within the University
