Philadelphia College of Pharmacy
The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy invites applications for tenure
or non-tenure track 12-month faculty positions in community pharmacy
practice, adult internal medicine, ambulatory care/primary care,
geriatrics, oncology, pediatrics, cardiology at the rank of Assistant
or Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy. The successful candidate
will be expected to educate students in the didactic and experiential
components of the Doctor of Pharmacy program and to develop a clinical
practice site at one of the numerous affiliated healthcare institutions.
Qualified candidates must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from
an ACPE-accredited institution, be eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania,
and have completed a minimum of one year, preferably two years of
post-graduate training. Candidates must possess a strong commitment
to teaching excellence and scholarship. Further, the candidate will
possess exemplary interpersonal and communication skills and work
collaboratively within the college and the university.
Philadelphia College of Pharmacy is the oldest pharmacy school in
the nation. It is part of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia,
a private institution that provides education in a number of healthcare
disciplines.
