Paid Time Off
Full-time, 12-month employees earn paid time off as follows:
Holidays: 9 paid holidays plus 3 floating holidays and 2 personal
days
Vacation: 12-month employees accrue 12 vacation days per year
(1 day for each completed month of service from date of hire)
Sick Leave: employees accrue .833 day/month of completed service
to a maximum of 10 days per year (from date of hire). Sick time
accumulates from year-to-year to a maximum of 90 days
Short Term Sick Leave: For serious non-work related medical conditions
that require an employee to be out of work for more than 2 weeks,
the University offers STSL program. STSL time is accumulated at
the rate of 1 month of full pay for each completed year of service
(to a maximum of 6 months), so long as proper medical documentation
is provided by the attending physician.
