The Arts Meet Sciences
USP / UArts Student Exchange Agreement

USP students can explore their creative side with classes in the UArts College of Media & Communication (CMAC) or in classes and private instrument instruction at the College of Performing Arts (CPA), while UArts students can broaden their knowledge base with science, humanities and business classes at USP. Intended to enrich the curricula of both institutions by exposing students to coursework not included at their home school and to promote collaboration among students and faculty, up to 10 students from each school are eligible each semester. Paying tuition to their home institution, students may take up to 18 credits of course work at the away campus over six semesters.

Representative Music Course Offerings for USP Students
Intro to Music Theory, Class Piano I & II, Music Technology Survey, Class Jazz Piano I & II, History of Rock Music, Diaghilev and His Time, Business of Music, Careers in Music, plus more as determined by the universities.

Up to five students each semester may enroll in the applied music program (individualized instruction) offered by the UArts School of Music. These five students are not included in the ten student cap mentioned above. These courses will be for credit and an additional fee per semester.
