Retaining Your Financial Aid

Satisfactory Academic Progress for Financial Aid

Students who receive financial aid while attending the University must maintain satisfactory academic progress to continue to be eligible for financial aid funding. Progress is measured at the end of each academic year.

For financial aid purposes, a student maintains satisfactory academic progress if he/she:

  1. completes an average of 12 credits per term that the undergraduate student is enrolled full-time, or an average of 6 credits per term that the undergraduate student is enrolled part-time.
  2. maintains the minimum GPA standard of the academic department.
