The Fitness & Health Management program prepares you to be able to identify health risk factors and behaviors, test & assess client fitness levels, develop exercise programs, and motivate individuals towards healthier lifestyles. In addition, the management aspect will help you to develop your own leadership, budgeting, human resource, and facility supervisory skills.
Students are prepared for national certification exams such as:
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Exercise Specialist, Health/Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer
- National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Personal Trainer
- American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer, Lifestyle/Weight Management Consultant
