Faculty Research Interests

A bulleted listing of the research interests of all faculty members affiliated with the Department can be found below (alphabetically by faculty name), including Research Professors from other departments, as well as active Emeritus faculty.

A more detailed description of any individual faculty member's research activities (including representative publications) is available through the link provided with each name.

Faculty with a (‡) after their name may serve as a research advisor for undergraduates enrolled in Undergraduate Research (CH 450) and graduate students enrolled in any of the Department's MS or PhD Graduate Programs.

Faculty from other departments with an (*) after their name are designated as Research Professors in the Department's Graduate Program, and may serve as research advisors for graduate students in their appropriate area of expertise. However, a Research Professor may NOT serve as an advisor for an undergraduate student enrolled in Undergraduate Research (CH 450).

All other Department faculty listed may serve as a research advisor for undergraduate students.

The "Emeritus" faculty listed are available for consultation, but may not serve as research advisors for new graduate students.
