Graduate Programs
The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry has available graduate
programs leading to the MS (thesis and non-thesis) and PhD
degrees in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Pharmacognosy.

USP has about 2200 undergraduate students and over 200 graduate
students enrolled in its pharmacy, natural and health sciences,
and professional programs. Approximately 20 full-time and part-time
graduate students are presently enrolled in the Department of Chemistry
& Biochemistry, and many of our graduate students receive financial
aid in the form of tuition remission, teaching assistantships, and/or
research fellowships.
New BS and MS programs in Bioinformatics
have also recently been approved which utilize expertise available
in the departments of Chemistry & Biochemistry, Biological Sciences
and Math/Physics/Computer Science. Individuals interested
in more information about the MS Bioinformatics Program should contact

interested in Bioinformatics at the undergraduate level should contact
