Course description
This is a required course providing an introduction to classification
and control of microorganisms. Emphasis is placed on microbial diseases,
their causes, symptoms, diagnosis, prevention, and treatments of
choice.
This course is also designed to give students opportunities to develop
basic computer skills through use of the internet and various computer
programs.
Prerequisite
BS104 (General Biology II) or BS 131 (Introductory Biology II)

Second year pharmacy majors and other health related majors
