Competed in all six regular season races and the CACC Championships at Carousel Park in Wilmington, Delaware...Was the Devils third finisher at the CACC Championships, placing 39th overall with a time of 33:01.42...Ran a 32:18.85 one week earlier at the Cabrini Invitational at Belmont Plateau...Cross the finish line in 32:45.10 at the Goldey Beacom Invitational at Carousel Park...Ran a personal best for 8,000 meters with a 32:06.26 at the Belmont Classic...Produced a time of 34:37.69 at the Philadelphia Metro meet at Belmont...Ran a 35:24 at the Maroon and Gold Invitational at Kutztown University... Made his collegiate and cross country debut with a 36:50 at the Delaware Valley College Invitational.

A 2006 graduate of Mansfield High School in Mansfield, Texas...Did not compete in cross country in high school... Member of Mansfield's men's swimming team, earning four varsity letters...A member of the National Honor Society, the Chess Club and was listed in "Who's Who"...Was a member of the Arlington Stingrays (U.S. Swim Team Association) in Arlington, Texas.

Oldest child of Brent and Thu Barkley...has one sister, Tiffany...Is a two-time chess tourney winner in tournaments hosted by the USP Chess/Math Club...Favorite Movie is Gladiator...Favorite Musical Group is Linkin Park...Chose USP for the reputation of its excellent pharmacy program...Career ambition is to be a pharmacist.
