Competing against runners from nationally ranked Lock Haven University (#19) and regionally ranked Kutztown, Willard, a sophomore, placed 15th overall with a time of 28:48.66. Aifuwa (Edison High School/Edison, N.J.), finished in fourth place overall against runners from Kutztown (#12 nationally) and regionally ranked Lock Haven, completing the 6,000-meter course in 24:54.08. Two of the three runners finishing ahead of her were on the 2006 All-Region Team while racing for Kutztown. The senior Aifuwa led USP to a fifth place finish amongst a strong field of teams.
