Chesnavich
Named to CACC Women’s Basketball Honor Roll
for the Second Consecutive Week

University of the Sciences in Philadelphia women’s Basketball player Erin
Chesnavich (Bishop O’Reilly High School/Pittston, Pa.) was named
to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women’s Basketball Weekly
Honor Roll for her performance for the week ending November 30, 2008.
In earning CACC honor roll accolades for the second consecutive week, Chesnavich, a 6'2" junior, led the Devils in scoring, rebounding and shooting in USP's lone game last week, a 67-45 loss to Millersville University.
Chesnavich scored 16 points and pulled down six rebounds. Erin was a perfect 6-for-6 from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line in the contest. In addition, the junior forward recorded a pair of blocked shots.
A first team All-CACC selection last year, Chesnavich is amongst the conference leaders in five different categories, leading the league in field goal percentage (60.8%), ranking fourth in scoring (18.0 points per game), sixth in blocked shots (1.83/game), eighth in free throw percentage (81.8%) and 20th in rebounding (6.2 per game).
The former Bishop O’Reilly High School athlete is in her third season of play for the Devils. Chesnavich currently leads the Devils in scoring average, points scored (108), field goal percentage, rebounds (37) and blocked shots (11). She is second on the team in free throw percentage.
Chesnavich is a biology major at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
