Devils

The University of

Last year the Devils were the first visitors to use Army's new ET system
and this year were the first visitors to use Navy's, providing a great
opportunity to use a new 'state of the art' scoring system. This system
has helped make rifle a true spectator sport as each shooters score is
immediately projected onto a master scoreboard and allows people to watch
the event in real time. "Watching 32 scores being constantly updated
on a huge scoreboard makes the match an exciting thing to watch,"
adds Head Coach Paul Klimitas.
The match also marked
the start of "Coach K's" 32nd season at the helm of the Devils
rifle program, making him the longest tenured rifle coach of all-time,
passing Bill Kane, who coached at King's College for 31 years (1946-1977).
In smallbore, Navy
was led by Josh Albright (572); Lisa Kunzelman (565), Chris Burleson (562)
