Martins Named to CACC Men’s Tennis Honor Roll

New Haven, Conn. (3/31/09) – University of the Sciences in Philadelphia men’s tennis player Ricardo Martins was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men’s Tennis Honor Roll for the week ending March 29, 2009.

Martins (Idegio Pentagono/Sao Paulo, Brazil) returned to action last week after missing the Devils first four matches of the spring with a shoulder injury. Ricardo competed at #2 singles and recorded a 6-0, 6-0 win over Bloomfield's Evan McCall on Saturday. It was his only match of the week. The win was Martins' first of the season

The former Idegio Pentagono athlete from Brazil is in his third season as a member of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia men's tennis team. Martins is a physical therapy major and is in his third year as a studnet in the institution's Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
