Frazier Named to CACC Men’s Basketball Honor Roll
New Haven , Conn. (2/18/08) – University of the Sciences in Philadelphia men’s Basketball player Jarrod Frazier (St. Augustine Prep HS/Port Norris, N.J.) was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll for his performance for the week ending February 17, 2008.
In the Devils two games last week, Frazier, a 6’1” junior, averaged a double-double with 15.0 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game.
Frazier recorded career highs in both points and rebounds in the Devils 65-57 loss to Nyack College on Saturday. Jarrod connected on four of five shots from the field and nine of 13 from the free throw line en route to 17 points. The junior guard also pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds.
Earlier in the week, Frazier scored 13 points and pulled down eight rebounds against Chestnut Hill College. In the two games, Jarrod shot 52.9% (9-17) from the floor and 54.5% (12-22) from the free throw line while scoring 30 total points and pulling down 21 rebounds. He also had two assists and four steals for the week.
The former St. Augustine Prep High School athlete is in his third season of play for the Devils.
Frazier is a pharmaceutical marketing/management major at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
