Profiles of USP Students and FacultyReady to begin an exciting and rewarding career? Apply to USP! We've been educating leaders in the sciences and health professions since 1821. And we're very good at what we do:

  • USP students are pursued by employers - most have jobs or have been accepted for advanced study by the day of graduation.
  • USP ranks in the top 11% of 1,150 comparable institutions whose undergraduates have gone on to complete a doctoral degree in the sciences.

The Process

The University practices a rolling admission policy accepting qualified applicants until the class is filled in all programs for first-year admission.

In addition, USP's unique direct entry enrollment system admits you into your program of choice as a first-year student as long as you maintain your grades and complete the requirements for your specific program.

There are four ways to apply to USP:

  • Undergraduate/first professional student: For high school students.
  • Transfer student: For students transferring to USP from another university or college and/or candidates interested in applying for transfer into the pharmacy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or physician assistant programs.
  • International student: For undergraduate/first-year professional students who reside outside the United States.
  • Graduate student: For students who have a college degree(s) and wish to pursue an advanced degree. Students interested in pursuing a pharmacy, physical therapy or physician assistant degree should apply as a Transfer Student.

Attention Pharmacy Transfer Students

Applications for Pharmacy transfer candidates will no longer be accepted.

The deadline to apply to the Pharm D program as a transfer student was January 15. Any applications submitted after January 15 will be returned.
