Important Revision to AP Credit Policy

All students planning to apply earned AP credit must do so no later then the end of the Drop/Add period of their first semester at USP. It is the responsibility of the respective student to make sure AP reports reach USP before the deadline. If needed, an expedited report can be requested that will be mailed within two days. It is advisable, however, to not procrastinate and take measures to ensure AP credit is submitted in a timely fashion.

Important Revision to IB Credit Policy

IB credit will be handled in the same manner as AP credit. In addition, any student wishing to decline IB credit for which they qualify and take the comparable course at USP must submit a Request for IB Credit Removal to the Registrar's Office. The form must be signed by the student's Academic Advisor and program director/department chair/academic dean. The request must be submitted before registering for the comparable course. IB credit will then be permanently removed from the student's record and cannot be re-awarded.
