Study Abroad

University of the Sciences and New York University's (NYU) Study Abroad Program have signed an articulation agreement that allows eligible University of the Sciences students to study at NYU campuses in Asia, Africa, Europe and South America for a semester.

International eduation is a long-standing part of NYU's global mission that includes a wide range of initiatives both in the United States and abroad to facilitate the exchange of knowledge across international boundaries.  NYU's study abroad tradition began in 1958 when NYU in Madrid opened its doors to American students.  Since then NYU's offering of international opportunities has expanded rapidly and includes fully staffed academic centers in eight countries, exchange partnerships with some of the world's most prestigious universities in 18 countries, short-term summer programs in 17 countires, and specialized learning programs like film directing and nursing.

NYU operates ten programs during the academic year in:

  • Berlin, Germany
  • Florence, Italty
  • London, England
  • Prague, the Czech Republic
  • Paris, France
  • Buenos Aires, Argentina
  • Accra, Ghana
  • Madrid, Spain
  • Shanghai, China
  • Tel Aviv, Israel

With careful planning, students can study abroad for a semester and not delay graduation.

NYU’s London campus offers the science courses usually taken by second-year University of the Sciences students.

Courses are treated as University of the Sciences courses and both credits and grades appear on students' transcripts.
