Pre-Medical Education Curriculum
As a pre-med student, you fulfill the criteria of the major you choose. Whatever your choice, you will have access to an exceptionally strong array of health science courses, such as anatomy and physiology, hematology, microbiology, and immunology. In addition, you will acquire a solid foundation in laboratory sciences and basic courses required for admission to medical/professional school.
Your first two years will include two semesters each of:
- General biology, supported with laboratory work
- General chemistry, supported with laboratory work
- Organic chemistry, supported with laboratory work
- General physics, supported with laboratory work
As early as your sophomore year, you may pursue independent study and research under the guidance of faculty members.
