Careers in the Medical Field
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, employment opportunities for physicians will increase faster than the average for all occupations due to continued expansion of the healthcare industry. The growing and aging population will drive overall growth in the demand for physician services. In addition, new technologies will permit more intensive care, influencing physicians to do more tests, perform more procedures, and treat conditions previously regarded as untreatable.
