Fitness and Health Management Faculty

Faculty members in USP’s Fitness and Health Management Program are gifted athletic and health minded leaders. All are active in national health and fitness associations. Several have served as coaches, umpires and other sports officials. All are certified specialists, trainers and health scientists.

Mrs. Richards obtained an MS in sport management from Slippery Rock University and is currently pursuing her doctorate in health studies. She is nationally certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the American Council on Exercise, (ACE), and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, (AFAA) as a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor; she is also a certified American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor and a YogaFit certified Instructor; she is also a member of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD); Research Consortium; the American Association for Health Education (AAHE); the American Association for Physical Activity and Recreation (AAPAR); and ACSM’s Alliance of Health & Fitness. A former college athlete, Mrs. Richards has professional experience in corporate, community and collegiate fitness, wellness and recreation, and currently trains clients and teaches group exercise classes in various locations in Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.

Janet DiSipio, MSPAS

Mrs. DiSipio received a master’s degree from Arcadia University and a bachelor’s from Lehigh University. She practices clinically in dermatology at the Bryn Mawr Skin and Cancer Institute. Mrs. DiSipio is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is also state-certified in ACLS and has lectured on skin care and the physician assistant profession.

Mandee Lewis Wooldridge, MS, CSCS, ACE CPT

Mrs. Wooldridge holds an MS in exercise physiology from West Chester University. She is a nationally certified Personal Trainer and Lifestyle Weight Management Consultant through the American Council on Exercise (ACE); a certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA); and a certified CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor through the American Heart Association. Mrs. Wooldridge is experienced in collegiate and corporate fitness, wellness and recreation and is a member of IDEA Health & Fitness Association and the National Intramurals Recreational Sports Association.
