Occupational History

Pam stays very busy balancing her multiple roles. She is the mother of a four year old daughter, and is currently working on her dissertation. When she has time, Pam enjoys spending time with friends, camping, gardening, or reading.

Pam currently teaches two OT intervention courses: Contextual Approaches and Rehabilitation Interventions. She is also the instructor for Evidence Based Decision Making and the Fieldwork Experience, Clinical Reasoning and Professional Development, Current Issues in Gerontology, and coordinates Clinical Medicine.

Education

Pam has a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy degree and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree both from Thomas Jefferson University. She is currently enrolled in a Doctor of Education Program at Widener University.

Clinical Practice

Pam has worked as an Occupational Therapist at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Bryn Mawr Rehab Affiliates/Jefferson Home Health, Methodist Hospital Homecare, and per diem in a variety of facilities. Pam has been an interventionist for the Resources for Enhancing Alzheimer's Caregivers' Health (REACH) and the Achieving Better Living for the Elderly (ABLE) research studies at Thomas Jefferson University, and has provided home environmental evaluations for the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging.
