Occupational Therapy Entry Options
There are three entry routes to our occupational therapy program:
- Guaranteed freshman entry into the major: This option provides you with a BS in health sciences and a master of occupational therapy (MOT) in five years, with no additional application to enter the professional phase.
- Entry into the post-baccalaureate MOT program: If you've already received a bachelor's degree and have taken some pre-requisite courses, you can complete the program in just two-and-a-half years.
- Transferring in: Students who have taken college coursework, but have not received a bachelors degree may transfer into the 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of the OT program, depending on the coursework that has been completed.
