Biography
Dr. Palkovic is Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administration. She is currently a critical care specialist in the medical intensive care unit at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA.
Dr. Palkovic earned a PharmD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. She completed an ASHP accredited PGY-1 residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and an ASHP accredited PGY-2 residency at Allegheny General Hospital, where she specialized in critical care.
Dr. Palkovic teaches in the Clinical Case Studies course, Pharmacotherapeutics course, and Critical Care elective course. Her research interests include optimizing drug therapy for the medical and surgical intensive care unit populations. Dr. Palkovic is a co-advisor to Phi Lambda Sigma and is an active member of ASHP, ACCP, AACP, and SCCM.
